STANDING IN THE STORM, The Many Worlds of William Alan Webb

We Sleep At Night Because America's Armed Forces, Police and Fire Fighters Never Do

This is for hardcore World War Two buffs only. Drama involving young men in the Japanese Navy, serving aboard the largest battleship ever built, the Yamato. A spectacular achievement. The only quibbles I would have are with the modern parts, where the drama is so foreign to American tastes it makes it hard to relate. However, this is pretty minor stuff.

Accuracy rings true throughout the movie. From the brutality and cruelty officers showed toward the lesser ranks, to every detail of the ships and men, everything is  spot on. If you enjoy these kinds of movies, I would strongly recommend this one.
